Yes. Most jackets, softshell's, and waterproof coats can be embroidered. A lot of the insulated jackets offer decoration pockets for clean embroidered finish, whilst softshell jackets would be embroidered straight through.

Some thinner waterproof shells however are not suitable for embroidery due to the weight of the material but we will always advise if a specific jacket is not suitable for embroidery and suggest printing as an alternative.

When done correctly, embroidery shouldn't significantly affect the waterproof performance of a jacket.

We use appropriate backing materials and take care with needle placement to minimise any impact on the fabric's DWR coating.

We now finish off with a waterproof spray on the inside to backup the jackets water resistance further.

We do often advise against large rear embroideries due to the size of the artwork and for extremely technical waterproof garments, we'll advise on the best approach for your specific jacket.

Fleeces and bodywarmers are ideal for
embroidery. The fabric provides a stable, structured surface that produces
excellent results.

Common positions are left chest, right chest, and large rears with fleeces also free for sleeve embroideries.

We operate samples in a few different ways at Brand It Essex.

For those who know what they want.. We will quote for an order. Once the order is place we will ship samples of mixed sizes directly to you. Once sizes are confirmed, ship them back and we can confirm the order.

Unsure what you want? We can offer showroom appointments, video call demonstrations or sell blanks to be tried on and shipped back.

For large team orders in particular, we strongly recommend confirming garment sizing before committing to the full quantity.
